JEFF KENNETT: My tip has got to be Essendon, I think Collingwood’s carrying too many injuries. And I’ve also got to say I’m not sure I like the concept of players being forced to play so quickly after their last match. I think we tend to forget that these guys are trained up to very high levels of fitness, etc… DAVID REYNE: So some have played on Saturday and again today. JEFF KENNETT: It’s about four days. So I think it’s commercialism in one sense being put ahead of the health and welfare of the players, and I’m not happy with it. Not that I can do anything about it but I’m very pleased it’s not my lads at Hawthorn playing, I just don’t think it makes sense. And I think, you know, when we go there today football’s about youth.
