There was a compliance presentation at the recent divisional meeting where I attended and signed in to indicate my participation. Do I still need to attend an Annual Compliance Meeting?
Yes. Compliance presentations throughout the year are your Firm Element Continuing Education. MetLife Investors Distribution Company (MLDIC) is required to develop and deliver periodic training for their covered registered representatives throughout the year. These mid-year presentations fulfill that requirement and are not considered your Annual Compliance Meeting. ACMs are delivered in January at the NWM and in November and December for the Saledesk Associates and their supervisors.
