There seem to be different minumum property purchase prices now to qualify for PR. What are these purchase values?
Should a PR purchase property outside a designated area then the present minimum purchase price in order to qualify for PR is €101,551 for an apartment and €169,205 for a house (keep in mind this is not a capital commitment – you can raise a bond of 80%). Alternatively, in a designated area, the minumums are €69,000 for an apartment and €116,000 for a house. In reality though, there are no properties in designated areas for less than €98,000 and you would want to spend at least €180,000 in order to achieve a good capital growth and rental yield.
