There is no Dry Ice/My steaks arrive partially thawed, are they still good?
Yes. It is common for the dry ice to evaporate during the shipping process. As long as the product still feels cool then its quality will remain intact. Place them in the freezer or refrigerator until you are ready to cook them. If you ordered lobster tails, fish or chicken, you should not refreeze it. As long as it is cool to the touch upon arrival you can put it in the refrigerator for up to 7 days before eating it. If you ordered Crabcakes, you can refreeze them as long as they arrived cool to the touch. Keep in mind, Chicago Steak Company only ships via FedEx 2nd Day Air, Standard Overnight, or Priority Overnight to ensure that our product makes it to your door with the utmost quality.
