An Abbeyfield house is needed in every community where there are a large number of older citizens who do not like living alone, yet do not need or want the full support of assisted living or a nursing home. Ideally, a community such as yours with a post office, churches, a library and a vital downtown, allows a mobile senior more options for independence.
