A. NO! Chicken Meal is just the meat whereas just chicken can contain water, fat, skin and bones. Chicken Meal is a pure meat source because the water is drained and the rest is removed! In addition, make sure if your pet food label reads chicken meal there aren’t any by-products (beaks, intestines, animal necks, feet, undeveloped egg etc,) in the food.
