The City is responsible for the trimming of public trees only. This includes all trees located on public streets and City parks and open space. Please call the Operations Center at (617) 349-4800 or (617) 349-4846 (or e-mail us), or the Parks & Forestry Division at (617) 349-4886 and leave your name, phone number and location of the tree. If the tree is located on private property, the owner of the property is responsible for its maintenance.
