There is a student in my class whom I believe would benefit from extra time on a test, but they do not have a documented disability. Can CDS still proctor the exam?
The CDS office extends our testing center services, on a space-available basis, to faculty members who wish to send non-CDS students to our office to take their exams. If you would like us to proctor the exam, please contact the CDS office to make sure that we have space available, as we have a limited amount of testing space. Non-CDS students will be accommodated if space is available and arrangements are made in advance. CDS will proctor such exams for students who may need extra time, a quiet place away from the class, or if the student needs to take the test at a different time than the class. We are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you have a night class, you may need to make alternate arrangements with the student to allow them to come in during our hours.
