Turfgrass and trees is not a good combination especially when the intention is to have a lot of turfgrass planted under a lot of trees. The turfgrass wont get enough sunshine for it to be healthy. There are some turfgrass species that may work though; try Cowgrass. As for trees; avoid trees that grow roots too close to the surface; Raintree is a good example of a tree NOT to be used.
