Both the Budget Management Download Report by PI and Sub Object with FTE and Fund for Biennium and the Budget Management Flexible display the lines of data to which your agency has actually coded information. This allows for a much shorter report. The downside of this style is that you can no longer count on a particular piece of data to be a specific row and cell on the report. One way to use this data is to create a macro within EXCEL (or whatever spreadsheet software you have) that searches through the download report for specific coding elements and once they are found, moves the data to your spreadsheet. A sample of this type of macro can be downloaded here: Download Excel Macro Sample.xls To use this macro, click on the link above and save it to your computer. Run the new Budget Management Download report, view and save the report to your computer also. Open up the macro and the download report files in Excel.
