Local Employment Partnerships (LEP’s) are an exciting, new collaboration between Government and business to tackle the increasing recruitment and skills challenges in our labour market and economy, not least within Tees Valley. As an employer you will be asked to make a deal and offer people opportunities to get back into the workplace – through for example interviews, mentoring, on the job training or work trials. In return you will get the chance to recruit people you might not have previously considered – people who are eager to work and have the core skills you need.
