The Intel PXA250 is one of the first in a family of processors based on the Intel XScale technology. As with any new processor, there are always improvements and optimizations that are made to get the most out of the processor. We’re working with Intel in identifying areas for improvement; for example we’re working closely with Intel to optimize the iPAQ for certain memory intensive applications. We’re assisting Intel in evangelizing the need for software developers to optimize their applications to the XScale processor.
