The main feature of ubcbook is that you can type in your department and course number to get a list of the books your class requires, and ubcbook finds everyone who is selling those books for you. Secondly, ubcbook is more than just a place to buy and sell stuff. There’s also a forum where you can discuss anything that concerns UBC students, or ask questions and easily get answers from other UBC students. Thirdly, unlike some other classified advertising websites, you do not have to provide personal contact information such as e-mail addresses or phone numbers for other users to contact you. You can do all your communication easily through the ubcbook notification/messaging system. Also, soon there will be ubcbook blogs as well.
