There are three different DS9097U serial port adapters. What is the difference?

All three serial port adapters use the DS2480B chip and responds to the same basic commands. The DS9097U-009 contains an additional chip, the DS2502 on the 1-Wire output. This acts as an identifier for the adapter and shows the adapter is working. The DS9097U-S09 is the DS9097U-009 without the DS2502 chip. The DS9097U-E25 also does not have the DS2502 chip but does have the capability to program 1-Wire EPROM parts (DS198x and DS250x series). This is the only adapter that has this ability at this time.
