• You must be referring to the truck loads full of regular Bass Shakers (non-pro) that U.S. Customs seized and sold. I’ve been told several stories. One story is that Aura no longer wanted these Bass Shakers because they were defective, so they literally left them at the border. Another story is that Aura was financially strapped for cash and they couldn’t afford the import duties. And yet another story is that Aura was dumping the non-pro Bass Shaker line due to poor sales, i.e. they already had a warehouse full of Shakers they couldn’t sell, so they didn’t want more. Now with the marketplace flooded with the discount/surplus Bass Shakers that Aura isn’t making a dime off of, it is certain that Aura’s financial situation has gotten worse. • Aura claims the “discount/surplus” Bass Shakers are rejects and defective. These Bass Shakers do work but it looks like they have been subject to water or moisture damage since the copper zip cord wires are green and show signs of serious corrosion
