Live-in home care is an option that involves the Caregiver residing with a Client while providing home care services. Usually, the Client is unable to live with family or friends. Live-in home care can be obtained for long- or short-term purposes. Residential home care refers to services provided by Caregivers to Clients living in a nursing home, residential group home or retirement community. Individuals in these setting often require a range of personal care, nursing and medical services. Respite care is temporary, short term relief provided by Caregivers to those who are caring for family members. It is a good way to prevent family Caregiver burn out.
