Rumours of the imminent demise of the qualification are unfounded. It is accredited until Aug 2009 with an end certification date of Aug 2011. Please see the QCA NDAQ database which can be found at http://www.accreditedqualifications.org.uk/index.aspx OCR will be seeking to extend the accreditation end date from Aug 2008 onwards.
