We believe that the quality, durability, design and value are far superior to other models of balance bikes out there, and here’s why: The Strider has better seat height adjustment. Strider offers 11″ to 16″ in any increment you want, and you can even buy a longer seat posts to raise the seat even higher. Wooden bikes that we’ve seen don’t allow the seat to go as low, adjust in only a few set increments, and don’t go as high. This limits the useable life of the bike. The Strider has better saddle ergonomics. Strider offers a regular bicycle saddle with a molded plastic shell, just like a traditional saddle design seen on adult bikes. The seat has a narrow nose with wider rear seating wings, plus padding and a vinyl cover all scaled to fit a small rider.
