There are many references to ORC 519 in the Growth Management Resolution. Why so?
Most of the references to 519 involve the composition, organization, and operation of the citizen panels that are involved in zoning. The statutory rules cannot be altered by our Resolution, so we have simply referenced the appropriate code sections which residents can go to directly for the complete picture of how zoning works. The code provisions are fairly standard “organizational” type provisions, which require many pages of print, but which we think will contain no surprises to the reader. ORC 519 is available on the Township website: www.franklin-township.org, and it is included in whole in this booklet.
