There are about 900 species of tarantula but only 1 species of human. Did scientists abuse the species concept?
No a species is a group of living organisms which can interbreed to create fertile offspring. Humans can do so. In fact all humans are sub species A sub species means very low genetic material within that group and this has been observed in the Human genome thus we are all a sub species and in fact very identical even though our physical traits vary.
