There are a number of repair jobs that need doing on my property. Can I report them to the housing office next time he comes round?
Telling the housing officer about repairs is not the best way to report them. You should call the office and speak to a member of the customer care team. They will take the details and let you know when you can expect a visit from the contractor to carry out the work. If you want to discuss a repair in more detail, or have a query ask to speak to the maintenance officer who will be happy to help you. If you report your repair promptly, we will attend to it as quickly as possible, depending on how urgent we believe it to be. Unfortunately people sometimes save up all their repairs to show the housing officer when he comes round, but the repairs are not his responsibility. Also, he needs as much time as possible to visit other residents and deal with housing management issues.
