There are a lot of brackets and braces and angle brackets and parentheses in the input text file. Is there an easy way to get started?
Originally, users had to create the .chrt.html files themselves and then feed those into MAKEORGCHART. Over time, this proved more and more difficult and so the capability to parse simple text files was added. But, over time even the syntax of the input text files has become more difficult and the .chrt.html files are impossibly complicated for a person to generate. At this point, more and more people are using tools and links to databases to generate the input text files. If you are building it by hand, start with some of the simple text examples above until you get the hang of it. Do not write your database linking program to generate the .chrt.html files because support for those will eventually be removed from MAKEORGCHART.
