The Workforce Investment Act (WIA) has five titles. Which applies to adult education and which adult programs does it affect?
Title II of the WIA is titled the Adult Education and Family Literacy Act. We refer to this title as “the Act”. The Act impacts Nevada’s federally funded Adult Basic Education funded programs (which also receive some state funds), and indirectly affects the state funded Adult High School programs.
