Currently there isn’t a login for wireless access at the Library. When you access the Library’s wireless network you will see a screen that says “Welcome to the Zone CD”. When the CD Zone screen comes up to show the station is connected to the wireless router a “login” box will appear. Click on the box for instant access to the Internet. We have ZoneCD monitoring bandwidth now and maintaining the IP connection. Eventually we may require login IDs to be setup by each user so we can better monitor traffic and apply bandwidth restrictions to heavy download users so they cant hog the whole pipeline and prevent others from gaining access, but for the moment the only thing any user has to do is click on the login box and they are connected. We are NOT monitoring users or URLs or keeping any sort of log. We are only monitoring traffic.
