The windows in my babys nursery are very close to the floor but they are brand new and have a flip lock that enables them to open only a few inches. Do I still need window guards?
We do recommend using window guards for several reasons. First, there is always the chance that a curious toddler could flip open the latch. There is also the risk of someone, whether a houseguest, someone cleaning your home or another family member forgetting to flip the latch back into the locking position. Window guards will help protect your child from the glass as well.
