The Web of Science includes SCIE for science and technology, and the SSCI for social sciences. Is there a database for materials related to arts and humanities?
The complete version of the Web of Science includes the following three domains: (1) Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), from 1990-present. (2) Social Science Citation Index (SSCI), from 1965-present. Under budget restrictions, the Library has only purchased SCIE and SSCI. It has not yet purchased the Arts and Humanities Citation Index (A&HCI.) Records on SCIE and SSCI date as far back as 1965. In Taiwan, universities that have purchased A&HCI include NationalTsingHuaUniversity (1985-), Academia Sinica (1999-), MingChuanUniversity (2000-), NationalChungChengUniversity (2002-), and FengChiaUniversity (2003-). Please refer to the libraries of these universities if you require use of A&HCI.
