For some XviD movies that haven’t been encoding with enough keyframes (when you fast forward or skip, the movie player is just using keyframes) the video might freeze or crash while the sound still plays. To fix that problem, you can install the FFDSHOW program. That program is an add-on for your movie player, it optimizes decompression and fixes the low-bitrate movies / fast forwarding problems.
