The US treats illegal immigrants better than their citizens. How about Brittan?
I don’t think you’d be much happier in Britain from the immigration point of view, though all British citizens are eligible for things like free healthcare anyway. Personally I’m not greatly bothered by immigration (illegal or otherwise), but there are some in Britain who say similar things to you – although there is no way that stuff with the immigrants suing the farmer would ever be allowed to happen in Britain.
Well if that’s the case in parts of the US, it’s certainly not that bad here. I believe, in fact, that certain human rights groups are rather annoyed at the way the UK treats illegals that are being held in detention centres waiting to be shipped back home etc. so those people for a start aren’t being treated better than others. Certainly, I don’t think illegal immigrants are treated better than both legal immigrants and citizens, and no, they most definitely cannot vote.
