The ULTIMETER date displayed by WAMON on the current conditions screen does not match the ULTIMETER’s date displayed on the instrument?
You must set the ULTIMETER’s leap year value BEFORE you set the time and date on the ULTIMETER keyboard. If you do not do this, the ULTIMETER date displayed by WAMON on the current conditions screen will not match the ULTIMETER’s date displayed on the instrument. Be sure to set the ULTIMETER’s clock about a minute (or more) slower than your PC’s clock. This is because at midnight each day, the ULTIMETER resets it’s logged data for “Today” and “Yesterday” in preparation for logging data for the new day. WAMON also closes its daily log file at Midnight according to the PC’s clock and then updates WEATHER.LOG with the high’s and low’s of the day. If the ULTIMETER has already reset it’s logs when Monitor accesses the ULTIMETER’s logged data, it will not get the past day’s weather history …. this will happen if the ULTIMETER’s clock is faster than the PC’s clock causing the ULTIMETER to reset its logs before the PC has a chance to record it at midnight (PC time).
