The trust is expected to set up by the 1st April 2009. What will things look like by then?
When the new trust is launched we would certainly intend to have the new trust board in place along with the transitional executive management team and we will be in the process of developing the new organisation’s detailed management structure. Of course, we don’t expect every single change to have taken place by 1st April. The new trust will be delivering against its key targets and clinical services will be good and safe. But there will not be any changes to clinical services as the new, merged trust comes into existence.
