The triangle in question is on the right side of the cover, just below the title. What the heck is that?
This was a technique employed in the ’90s and into the early 2000s in Superman comics. Back then, the books had a tightly-knit continuity and the story continued from one comic book (say, “Action Comics”) to the next (say, “Adventures of Superman”). These numbers let you know what order to read the books in to follow the overall story. We here at Pendant are continuity nuts, and so this was something I immediately jumped on once we had artists willing to do covers for us. In the above image, the “2007” in the triangle is easy enough to figure out, that’s quite obviously the year of release. The “27” in the triangle means that, taken as a whole story with a tight continuity throughout all Pendant superhero shows, that episode (“Superman: The Last Son of Krypton” issue 32) was the 27th part of the ongoing story for that year. When the next year rolls around, the “2007” becomes “2008”, the other number resets to “1” with the first superhero show to debut that year and we keep rolling onward
