This may happen when a beam of light from a lamp targets the receiver of the photometer (directly or reflected). To check this cover the photometer area (e.g. by holding your hand above the photometer) and compare the stability of the values. To avoid this influence switch off lamps or move the analyser to another position. Light from lamps with classical light bulbs is better (less influence) than those from neon tubes or quartz-halogen lamps.
