The trailer on the website is longer than a normal trailer. Why?
The trailer is not a typical trailer you would see at your local cinema. The trailer is more of a promotional piece for the film that contains alternate scenes from the feature film and was filmed before shooting of the actual feature film began. This was done for a variety of reasons. Mainly to help secure funding. It was eventually released online to announce and promote the feature film. The term trailer was used as it is well known and we wanted to make it clear that what people were seeing would be part of something bigger. A more standard trailer from the final film will be released later.
