The teeth close to the extraction socket are sensitive, is that normal?
After a tooth is removed, the surrounding bone, soft tissue and nerve become inflamed. Therefore, other teeth in the area or distant from the area may become sensitive due to the phenomenon known as “referred pain”. This will resolve on its own.
