The Swift mission Web pages say all the proposal information should be in one PDF file submitted to NSPIRES, but the NSPIRES Web pages seem to want many separate files. Which is it?
NASA issued an amendment to ROSES-2006 (ROSES-06 Amendment 3) stating that all the proposal information for review by the peer reviewers should be uploaded as a single PDF file. Your total NSPIRES submission would then consist of (1) a proposal.pdf file for peer review (containing sci. justification, references, budget narrative, etc. – see the NRA Proposers Guidebook for details); (2) the detailed budget including the complete budget table, for NASA review, submitted as totalbudget.pdf; and (3) the electronic Cover Page form, filled out by you and submitted by your institution. The NSPIRES Web site still expects separate submissions for the elements combined in the proposal.pdf file. If you submit the three items just mentioned, your NSPIRES proposal will be complete – ignore any messages to the contrary from the NSPIRES site. Please note that TOO proposers must also submit Target Information about their proposed observations to AKBAR/RPS, in order to have a complete proposal.
