The style I need is not available from EndNote. Can I create my own styles?
Firstly, while EndNote is distributed with a great many styles there are even more available from their website, www.endnote.com. Click on Support & Services, then scroll down to “Update to the latest Styles or Search for a Style by Criteria”. Many styles for particular journals are available, as are styles that have been updated to match the latest revision. You can also submit a vote for a new style. Alternatively you can use Style Manager to edit an existing style or create a new one. Click on File, Output Styles, Open Style Manager. The EndNote manual available from N:\Endnote5\EndNote5.pdf has good instructions on how to create and edit styles. Be aware that if you are using a PC connected to the University of Canterbury network, that you will not be able to save new or edited styles on to the N: drive.
