The status window on VIP shows the application running, but CRS shows VIP down?
Some possibilities: • Make sure the CRS configuration is correct. You may be sending CRS “keep alive” messages to a location other than 0MP or 5MP. More about VIP configuration settings. • VIP server may have failed which would cause the status message function to also fail. The VIP server and user interfaces are logically connected through signal passing & data sharing and because of this an unexpected VIP server failure would cause the status window to hang. If this situation is noticed the VIP maintenance programmer should be notified and log files saved for system diagnoses.
