A range of grids suitable for species routinely treated should be available. This should include a grid of 30cm x 40cm. Ref: Standard 6.14 (Tier 2 – All) Back to top As a Tier 3 practice/seeking Tier 3 accreditation we have a range of equipment, ECG, endoscopes and ultrasound, however, the person trained to use this equipment has since left the practice. Would we still qualify for Hospital status on the basis of having the equipment? The Scheme accepts that staff members do change and this may have a knock-on effect for continuing areas of veterinary services/practice. Obviously, some time would be given for practices to recruit a suitably trained person/arrange training for existing staff and to submit evidence of their training in using the equipment.
