No – the Review Group has confirmed that for premises to achieve Tier 2 standard it must have suitable cages available for day hospitalisation. It is acceptable for patients requiring overnight hospitalisation to be transferred elsewhere, where it is in the interests of the patient. Ref: Standard 5.
