I don’t think it will happen with the economy the way it is right now. I think about everyone agrees that Cleveland should be on the schedule. I think they for sure need more races. There are too many open weeks which makes it easy for people to forget about the series. I prefer they keep the ovals and road races fairly equal. Richmond can be a good race if they open things up more like they are talking about. No doubt the last couple years it has been a very boring race. Right now they are too much like nascar in that it is too hard to pass. They need to change that first. Then slowly add races each year until the economy gets better.

I think it sounds good! I would love to see Cleveland back on the schedule. Adding a race in Britain would be good if it is feasible. I also think that Watkins Glen should be dropped from the schedule when its contract is over. I know it is one of the greatest road courses. I was there over the weekend. However the IRL is not yet popular enough to attract a large crowd to a remote track like the Glen. The series would be better served by adding a race in Montreal or returning to Cleveland on its original date which was the fourth of July weekend.
