The Spirit Shop sells pink t-shirts but the Uniform Code doesn say I can wear them. Can I wear them to school on gym days?
Not at the Elementary campus. Grades K through 5 must wear crew-neck t-shirts in solid white (can be purchased from anywhere), white with our school logo or iris blue with the school logo sold in the Spirit Shop. No other style (no v-neck) or color is acceptable, even if the Spirit Shop sells it or even if it has our school logo on it (like the light pink or red Trinity Catholic t-shirts). We are trying to have our student population look uniform. Since gym clothes are worn all day at the elementary, it is important that they be dressed consistently with the rest of the students who will have only white, light blue or dark navy blue tops on. The gym uniform at the Jr. High is more flexible and these shirts can be worn there since the students change for gym and change back into uniform afterwards.
