The snap ring that keeps my wheel from moving forward on the wheel shaft has broken – can I get a replacement?
A2: Yes. Until recently, all Edson Pedestals were supplied with a single snap ring to hold the wheel from moving forward on the wheel shaft. Edson has changed this to a split ring with a washer. The split ring is put in the grove and the washer slides in between the wheel and the split ring. It is recommended that you keep at least one spare ring and washer in your onboard spares kit.
