The senate hearing this morning seems so partisan. Do you think Sonia Sotomayor would be a good Supreme Court Justice?

Of course it is going to be partisan. If everyone still supported adherence to the Constitution, then there would not be so much contention among Supreme Court nominees. Unfortunately, our country is not divided on the role of the judiciary. The right would like to maintain separation of powers and limit Supreme Court justices who like to pass law from the bench. The left tends to support a Supreme Court who is willing to ignore legislative intent when it suits their purpose. I don’t know what category Sonia Sotomayor would fit in, but the right will assume she fits in the judicial activist category because she was nominated by a President who support judicial activism.
