The scheme requires the beverage industry to run it, but can they say no?
As in South Australia, the beverage industry will be required to implement Cash for Containers if they wish to continue to sell their product in the Northern Territory. In South Australia, the beverage industry helps run the scheme and you can still buy a beer or can of lemonade – the same is expected to happen in the Territory.
