The Saratoga store was so crowded in August last year, the store is too small and parking was difficult. What can I do to avoid the crowds?
A. We have moved the Saratoga store to a larger location with better parking on the Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. Shopping early in the summer is best if you like to shop at a quiet store. The store is well stocked year round. We enjoy getting acquainted with the Challenger parents that come to make purchases during our slower seasons. If you find you need to shop in August, Challenger has arranged for the on-campus school sales this year to be held at schools with auditorium and parking space and which are in convenient locations for most parents. The on-campus sales are held at some schools to take the pressure off of the Saratoga store. Last year was a very nice year for the on-campus school sales. We had many wonderful comments from parents on the organization, friendly and helpful staff, the lack of lines and the large stock of inventory brought to the school sales. If you find that you cannot shop earlier in the summer, you may attend Challenger has arranged for the on-campus school sales this year to be held at the Ardenwood and Berryessa schools, which have large auditoriums and amble parking space and which are in convenient locations for most parents.
