Yes, a professional air-quality company will be engaged to monitor the air-quality inside the tunnel throughout the races. The southbound tube will be closed from 12 midnight the night before race day. Sufficient fresh air will be pumped into the Tunnel. Air Quality in the past has shown that it is suitable for running events to be conducted in the Tunnel.
