The “Reply” button on the right hand side of a message Im reading is ghosted / grayed out, and thus I can reply. Whats wrong?

The message might have been deleted, and you may be reading it out of the trash bin. If you used a search folder to find the message, you may be reading messages in the trash without even knowing it. If a message has been deleted and moved to the trash folder it doesn’t have all the features it had as a normal message. Undelete it first, THEN try and reply.
