The Remote Control does not work for my TV. How do I search for programming codes using the remote that came with my converter box?
The remote that came with your DTV Converter Box may not control some TV brands. Be sure to follow the remote control programming instructions below, or see your Install Guide for specific brand programming codes. If you cannot control your TV with this remote, we recommend you use the remote control that came with your TV separately, or buy a universal remote that can control the TV as well as your converter box. (Refer to the previous question.) 1) Make sure the TV is turned on during programming. 2) Press and hold the TV Power button (left side in “TV” group of buttons, not the main converter box Power button in the upper right corner). The TV Power button has to be pressed and held the whole time programming is in progress. When the TV Power button is released, programming stops. 3) Press the Up Arrow slowly and repeatedly until the TV turns off.
