It is important to note that in inner tubes the sealant will very quickly pool to the base of the tire once the tire’s stationary. If a high pressure tire appears to have lost pressure, it is helpful to first rotate the tire to allow the sealant to coat the tube. This makes the sealant available to re-treat any pre-existing punctures that could re-open and allow air loss under the high pressure.
