The Range Indicator on my eGO reads low when I accelerate or climb hills, but higher when I stop or ride at a constant speed on level ground. Which one is a more accurate gauge of range?

The Range Indicator continuously monitors the state of charge of the batteries and the load they are under. So to get an accurate reading of range under average (i.e. non-changing) riding conditions, you must be stopped.
